ABOUT
Hordan Records was born from the teenage dreams of a couple of restless minds who, faced with the disjunction of passively observing the annulment in the market of a style of music making, decide to participate and do their bit to show the world, that pop and rock are much alive.
Hordan Records is much more than an independent record label, it is a way of music understanding, based on the most genuine pop and rock with the inevitable references of the late 60s and early 70s.
At Hordan, we believe in our artists and only release music that we strongly believe in.
We are convinced that the essence of British pop and rock of the seventies, lives on in the souls of many young people in our society and we feel as a refuge of their music and their resistance to the majority trends imposed by a wild commercialism that has gone, gradually mediocrizing the musical offer, until reaching worrying extremes.
We are not nor pretend to be guarantors of anything, but we are excited to help showing the world and the music market, everything they have to tell the heirs of so many musical references.
We are convinced they have much to say.

Hordan Records neix dels somnis adolescents d’unes ments inquietes que davant la disjuntiva d’observar passivament l’anulació al mercat d’un estil de fer música, decideixen participar-hi i posar el seu granet de sorra per mostrar al món, que el pop i el rock són ben vius.
Hordan Records és molt més que un segell discogràfic independent, és una manera d’entendre la música des de la base del pop i del rock més genuí amb les referències inevitables de finals dels 60 i inicis dels 70. A Hordan, creiem en els nostres artistes i només llancem aquella música en la que creiem fermament. Estem convençuts que l’essència del pop i del rock britànic dels anys setanta perdura en l’ànima de molts joves en la nostra societat i ens sentim refugi de la seva música i la seva resistència a les tendències majoritàries imposades per un mercantilisme salvatge que ha anat, paulatinament mediocritzant l’oferta musical, fins arribar a extrems preocupants. No som ni pretenem ser garants de res, però ens fa il·lusió ajudar a mostrar al món i al mercat musical, tot allò que tenen per explicar els hereus de tants i tants referents musicals. Hordan Records nace de los sueños adolescentes de unas mentes inquietas que ante la disyuntiva de observar pasivamente la anulación en el mercado de un estilo de hacer música, deciden participar y poner su granito de arena para mostrar al mundo, que el pop y el rock están bien vivos.
Hordan Records es mucho más que un sello discográfico independiente, es una manera de entender la música desde la base del pop y del rock más genuino con las referencias inevitables de finales de los 60 e inicios de los 70. En Hordan, creemos en nuestros artistas y sólo lanzamos esa música en la que creemos firmemente. Estamos convencidos de que la esencia del pop y del rock británico de los años setenta perdura en el alma de muchos jóvenes en nuestra sociedad y nos sentimos refugio de su música y su resistencia a las tendencias mayoritarias impuestas por un mercantilismo salvaje que ha ido, paulatinamente mediocrizando la oferta musical, hasta llegar a extremos preocupantes. No somos ni pretendemos ser garantes de nada, pero nos hace ilusión ayudar a mostrar al mundo y al mercado musical, todo lo que tienen para explicar los herederos de tantos referentes musicales.
